Overturned mixer truck causes lane closures on I

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – An overturned mixer truck caused lane closures and delays on I-464 in Chesapeake Wednesday morning.

According to VDOT, the crash occurred on I-464 near Poindexter St. The north ride lane, the right shoulder, and the entrance ramps were closed until just after 11 a.m.

The investigation revealed the driver of the 2005 Mack Mixer took the exit ramp too fast, causing him to lose control. The vehicle overturned as a result.

The driver, 38-year-old Jose Francisco Guilherme Stasiak, was not injured in the crash. State Police said he is facing charges of reckless driving, failure to maintain control of a vehicle, and driving with no commercial driver's license.
